rmdso, i got a tetanus booster yesterday morning, and this afternoon it hit me hard -- fever, a swollen walnut of unpleasantness at the injection site, chills, the usual "gosh, your immune system is suddenly VERY VERY BUSY" sorts of symptoms. of course, i have no idea how high my fever might be because everything feels REALLY FUCKING COLD. my coworker confirmed that yeah, i was feverish, but of course that's not particularly accurate. i was pretty sure it was down around high-99 to low 100, but there was no way to tell.
i couldn't find my medical thermometer -- i know i have one, but i think i left it somewhere in the house the last time i was very sick last summer. so i went into the kitchen and used the digital cooking thermometer that's part of the timer i have. it's got a thermocouple on the end of a probe you can stick into meat or candy or whatever. so i wipe it down and stick it in my mouth and wait a few minutes and sure enough, i'm at about 100F (i calibrated the thermometer a few months back with boiling water, so it's fairly accurate).
i am RAW LIKE SUSHI and TOO RARE TO EAT.

i felt that way after my booster 2 years ago - sucked rocks. i sure hope it passes soon, babe.
as for the raw sushi ... well, don't want you to feel that way but i bet you're pretty tasty :)
