rmd"marty" started out as a tv teleplay written in three days as a fill-in. then it was an academy award winner of a movie.
now, it's a musical, at the huntington theater (presumably as a broadway tryout).
i haven't seen any of its previous incarnations, but the musical is just incredibly adorabe. it's a sweet love story about ordinary people.
i saw it tonite, and my heart is warmed.
