messing about in boats
Sep. 25th, 2002 06:18 pmit's been over a year since i've been out in a sailboat, but today i went and tooled around on the charles river for a bit with a friend of mine who has privs at the MIT sail pavilion. nice to see i haven't forgotten everything. :-) it was a nice 19' keelboat, and it handled very comfortably.
it's always so different experiencing a place from the water ... i'd never been out on the water in that area. very neat, being able to cruise along next to the esplinade and storrow drive and watch the people on shore.
