oh happy day!
Feb. 7th, 2003 05:19 pmso, it was supposed to snow a little today -- between 1 and 3 inches. instead, it appears that at least 8 - 10 inches of powdery snow got dumped on my house.
my across-the-street neighbors own a big-ass industrial snow blower (or maybe they just have one for now -- i think at least one of them works for the big janatorial service companies, so it may be that it's the company's, not theirs). and he's been going nuts with it -- he cleared his house and sidewalk, and then came across and while i was shovelling out my driveway before putting the truck in it, he cleared most of the length of my driveway as well.
how incredibly nice!

Date: 2003-02-07 04:55 pm (UTC)i love the xmas lights, actually. no "making up for" it required with me. :-)
so i'm voting either community spirit or that thrill of having a big huge toy to play with.
it's a *massive* snowblower. if i had something like that, i'd be off snowblowing streets, sidewalks, the lawn in front of city hall and the high school, everything.
