rmdso, it was supposed to snow a little today -- between 1 and 3 inches. instead, it appears that at least 8 - 10 inches of powdery snow got dumped on my house.
my across-the-street neighbors own a big-ass industrial snow blower (or maybe they just have one for now -- i think at least one of them works for the big janatorial service companies, so it may be that it's the company's, not theirs). and he's been going nuts with it -- he cleared his house and sidewalk, and then came across and while i was shovelling out my driveway before putting the truck in it, he cleared most of the length of my driveway as well.
