What? What's that you're saying? I taped plastic over my Windows just like the officials said, and now the screen is all blurry. Type bigger!

the government recently told people "gosh, there might be chemical attacks. if so, hide in an inside room in your house and seal it up with tarps and duct tape."

the government is trying to kill us! those bastards!

If you don't have a heart attack from the PANIC they are inciting, then you'll suffocate to death later
if you follow their instructions.

(given that sealing up the windows in a room leaves you with only 5 hours of good air ...)

makes me want to filk "Kyle's Mom" using Bush, bombs, etc.

Killing us softly...

I'm pretty skeptical that you can make a room in the average house airtight to the point where you could suffocate yourself anyway. A closet maybe, but there's just too many little cracks and fissures and places where things aren't flush. On the other hand, someone with sufficient terrified motivation could probably manage it.

If we were evil, consider how much money we could make by buying cheap tents, spraying them with sealant and putting in battery operated HEPA filters. Call them "Emergency NBC Shelters" and you could probably make millions. It's like the 50's bomb shelter scares again, except your product doesn't even have to be structural.

*sigh*

For the stickers, my favorite has to be "Who's your Daddy?" ;) Oh, McCarthy must be dancing in his grave ... it's like the "good" ol' days again of manipulation, propoganda, and fear-mongering.
