jobhunting is depressing. also depressing is realizing that the month is coming to a close and soon it will be time to assemble all the 1099's and my w2 and various other financial paperwork into a coherent mass and discover just how much i need to fork over to the government. *sigh*

and then i get to see if i can afford it. *double sigh*

well, i'm actually more nervous than the situation calls for. i think even at my most-likely-bad-scenario levels of "fucked" i'm still okay in the long run. and i found a lead on a job that's a pay cut but it might be interesting enough to be worth the pay cut (plus, hey, academia)

i alternate between doom and not-doom, basically.

I'm right there with you. I am officially fucking sick of unemployment. This is unsual as tired normally would follow the previous state of sick but there you have it.
