rmdi'm going to seattle today. i leave for the airport around 1430 - 1500. at 1130, i went to turn on my palm pilot to get my packing list and discovered that the palm battery was completely dead. after charging it for a few minutes, i found out all the data was gone.
the last time i synced it at home was over a week ago. i did manage to get nearly all of the data back, with a bit of judicious scp'ing from my desktop machine at work (where i had synced it yesterday).
and i'm glad i found this problem at 1130 instead of, say, at the airport when i went to look for my record locator. (i've got paper backups of things like that, but still.)
