i have a dryer! yay! the plumber came and hooked it up and it runs, which is good. so now i can do laundry upstairs in my apartment. the stove is also now much cleaner, which was a disgusting job to do -- there was assorted burnt food and dessicated chicken leg parts under the stovetop. the left rear burner isn't working quite right, but it looks either fixable or easily replacable. my dishwasher isn't great, tho. have to replace that at some point.

um, for context, i just bought a house. i'm camping out on the first floor while i fix up the second and third floors, where i'll be living. then i'll turn around and fix the first floor unit up and rent it out.
