i've been using revolutionary bike utena for a few days, now, since the truck broke down. and apparently i managed to burn my leg yesterday some time. i didn't actually notice it until i was getting ready for bed last night and apparently popped the blister, because suddenly there was this popped blister on my leg that i hadn't noticed before.

I burned my leg on a motorcycle muffler (I was 15, wearing shorts because they failed to mention the person who would be picking me up from BART would be on a motorcycle) and it didn't actually hurt until half an hour or more later, once it got p[ast the nerves that had been killed on contact, or something. But then, DAMN did it hurt. You can just barely see what it happened now if you know exactly where to look. I thought I was going to have this 2-inch circle on my leg for life.

the very first interaction with a motorcycle i remember was back when i was a young girl, i stepped backwards and bumped against a motorcycle and managed to press the back of my knee against a very hot muffler.

Ouch. Sorry about the burn. Of course, I'm thinking that hopefully that will be your worst motorcycle related injury ever :-)
