rmdtoday is my birthday, and i celebrated with a low key dinner with a few old friends. and that was lovely.
and claudia, the best girlfriend ever, gave me absolutely beautiful flowers. (pictures here and here).
life is very good, and i am a very lucky woman.
and since the flowers contain lillies and other cat-hostile things, the arrangement is now on top of the fridge)

Date: 2003-11-14 03:02 am (UTC)I like birthdays. When you think about it it's the only truly personalized holiday we get every year.
I'm the same way WRT celebration - I'd much MUCH rather have a select group of good friends around I can be utterly comfortable with and who share some of the same fond memories I do.
