Date: 2004-12-06 07:31 am (UTC)I think you'd make a kicking high-school teacher. You've got a good breadth of real-world knowledge and experience, plus you're mentally and physically adventurous (compared to, say, some of the walking stereotypes of sweatered ladies I had in high school classes).
If my kids didn't already know you, you'd be the kind of adult I would want them exposed to at that point in their lives. Finally you have a calm and straightforward handle on sex, sexual behavior and sexuality. Given how many high school kids have to wrestle with these issues (not to mention the learning-to-be-queer kids) I'm all in favor of having more high school teachers with that kind of approach available to the kids.
My only worry is that the politics would make you insane or homicidal.
