ah. much better.
Dec. 12th, 2004 12:26 pmwoke up able to move my back normally. i think everything's settled down again.
this is much better than the random recurring back pain i had about a year ago, where it turned out to be a cancerous ovarian cyst about the size of a compact car or something. (i would've been worried about that this time, but differences here were that 1. i could define exactly what muscle was the problem, and 2. it was non-binary pain. one of the odd things about the pain from the cyst was that it was either OW OW OW OW OW or just fine. none of this intermediate ache stuff.)
so, yeah, this week marks the 1 year anniversary of my surgery. (i started to get really sick on the 16th, went to the ER on the evening of the 17th, and they did the surgery early afternoon on the 18th.) man, that sucked. i mean, it was great because the cancerous bits got from the inside to the outside, and i've got a groovy new scar on my abdomen and a whole passle of new stories, but it still sucked.
