i had a phone message last night from the wsop folks. it's official -- i'm registered for event 26 (ladies NLHE event, sunday, june 26th). if i don't show up, my chips get blinded off. and while (if my experience at this year's NEPC $500 event are any indication) i may last longer just getting blinded off, my chances of making the money are somewhat higher if i show up and play. it'll be both the largest and the largest buy-in tournament i've ever been in, live. (it's likely there will be fewer players than some of the big cheap online MTT's) i'm alternating between psyched and terrified. i expect i'll settle down to being psyched.

i get in saturday noon-ish. my folks and i are staying at harrah's (which is good, since they've got a shuttle bus to the rio). i figure i'll swing by the rio on saturday to get the paperwork settled.) i'm in town till tuesday evening.
