Yeah, trust me I'm aware. I lost a dear friend/lover to breast cancer many years ago. Her self portrait still hangs over my bed.

She had written "No cancer is 100% fatal" in bright red lipstick across her bathroom mirror so it was the first thing she read every morning when she put on her glasses and the last thing at night when she took them off.
