lynchian goodness

so, claudia and i watched mullholland drive last night.

aside from the excellence of seeing naomi "jet girl" watts engaging in tawdry nookie with larua harring, it does seem as though lynch said "okay, i can't use this tv pilot as a tv pilot so let's take all the weirdness that might've happened in a full season of tv and pack it into the rest of the film to get it up to release length."

i mean, what was that film about, anyways?

getting better

i think this morning's dose of soma has pretty much worked its way out of my system (it's been 9 hours), and i just successfully managed to slowly (but not, like, tim conway old guy shuffle) walk the mostly-flat half a mile or so up to the video store and back. so that's all good.
