timing is everything.
Sep. 6th, 2002 08:54 amnothing like getting all the bugs worked out of an ISDN dial-on-demand backup network solution in plenty of time for one of your WAN vendors to totally fuck up your network and keep the hub of your hub-and-spoke enterprise network down for over 30 hours.
so, hooray for being dim instead of dark in the face of utter stupidity on the part of my vendor.
and it was utter stupidity. THESE IDIOTS SPENT OVER 9 HOURS SITTING IDLE ON MY TICKET BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T KNOW THE CORRECT CIRCUIT ID NUMBER. THEY DISPATCHED A FIELD TECH TO THEIR POP WHO COULD NOT DIAGNOSE A BUSTED CSU/DSU.
the vendor is well aware that they've drastically fucked up and has already begun grovelling. i eagerly await their conciliatory offer.
