Apr. 9th, 2009 06:39 ami was up really early yesterday and up really late as well. long day. so i was worried about my ability to get up for Yet Another off-hours work event today. it was comparatively late -- while my maintenance window on weekdays runs 0500 - 0700, i didn't need to start until after 6 and i could do the work from the comfort of my bathrobe sitting around at home. but still. getting to sleep around 1:30 made for a short snooze.
my body decided to be .. helpful? i woke up at just about 0500 with a raging leg cramp. once i managed to get my foot on the floor and calm the muscle, i got the work done. now, i think i'm going to go take a nap.
(i think i was a bit dehydrated yesterday, which is the general cause of leg cramps. i get them very infrequently, although i usually think of them as a summer thing.)
