How are you getting an aftermath? It's showing no signs of stopping outside. Can't disagree with the rest, though, not that I've gone outside yet or anything, since I begged out of the 1pm thing I was going to go to in Newton Centre.
well, by "aftermath" i mean "lull". i figured if i could see the houses next to me and even a few beyond that it was a good time to go do a round of shovelling.
I find it necessary to shovel everytime the snow reaches the doorsill. So far this storm, I've shoveled twice. The snow is now higher than the porch where I've piled it. And we supposedly aren't getting half of what you Boston types are getting. Where are you going to put it all?
I know what you mean. I saw the neighbor's strapping young son (20ish) when I was shoveling in front of our house and he in front of his. Then I started shoveling out the neighbor on the other side (65 year old man and wife) and I think I shamed the kid into joining me, giving said neighbor a pleasant surprise as he opened his door as we were finishing.
