i hate having to spend days trying to fix what should be a simple problem. at least until i do it. once i solve it... my god. i love that rush of solving a problem. and of *having solved* a problem.

I always thought it was less like hunting and more like scavenging. But that's just me.

This is one of the reasons I love coding. It's so viscerally concrete; the test either WORKS or it DOES NOT. Debugging can be frustrating, but it feels great once you get it done. (unless you're too overwhelmed by your own stupidity in not "seeing it earlier"... :))
