speed racer movie (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0811080/): EVERYTHING I WANTED PLUS MORE SHINY. it was full of bright colorful "lysergic adrenaline" (tip of the hat to feste for the term, iirc)

the descent (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0435625/): a good thriller horror movie that not only passes the "dykes to watch out for" movie test, it blows it out of the water because most of the cast is female. i really enjoyed it.

dexter season 1 (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0773262/): good creepy fun. i watched it via netflix on demand all in one weekend.

the wire season 1 (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0306414/): this is good stuff. this is really good stuff. the american city as an epic.

You correctly recall that it was me, but I use the spelling of adrenalin which does not end with 'e'. (Apparently, both are now acceptable.)

But yeah, it's a good thing that it was tamidon driving us home from the movie instead of me...
