meanwhile, things i hate today:
1. secure computing's sidewinder firewall. yeah, i get it, you're a potentially powerful application layer inspect-inside-the-packets able to remove things from the session stream in a single bound blah blah blah badassed security appliance.

you are also FUCK-ALL fiddly to configure. especially when there's two of you that are supposed to be working together. especially when i'm under a deadline.

5. leg cramps and the lingering muscle pain thereof. nothing like muscles spasming so hard they apparently injure themselves.


otoh, i remembered to bring my headphones to the disaster-recover/staging facility, so i've got music instead of ventilation sounds. also, i found an unused table so i can type reasonably well, here. so that's good.

I hate leg camps too, especially at night when they force me up and out of bed. Walking funny due to screwed-up knees has made them more frequent. Taking potassium supplements before bed seems to help.
