the mars phoenix lander may be shutting down for good very soon. my suggested twitter obituary/epitaph for it is exactly 140 characters: "@earthlings going off to sleep now. will wait here for pickup/rendezvous with the rest of you. it could be a while, but i'll just wait here."

oh, hey, television nerds: i keep hearing the current seasons of "heroes" has somehow jumped the shark and is sucking. i have most of teh episodes sitting on my tivo. should i watch them or delete them?

I have thought that one of the things I would like to see before I die is the Spirit Rover in the Smithsonian.

While one might think that is nuts, I remember as a kid reading about how Liberty 7 was lost in the seas forever. Now? They drop a robot, drop a line, winch it up, and will put it in a museum.

I keep hoping they'll pull an "it was all some alternate reality and now we've fixed it and the past seven episodes never happened" kind of thing. *sigh* Save Heroes in case it pulls out of this nose dive and is good again and you want to start up again, because you'll need them to know what all has been happening (that show is such a soap opera some times).

Forget about Heroes. I'm trying to. So much soap opera, not enough stuff to keep me interested. Even so, I'm keeping what I download, just in case it's all been a bad (soap opera) dream.

I'm getting slightly interested in Fringe, and hoping that I come to care a little more about some of the characters soon.
