There's been a lot of happy noise on the radio lately, but I think one of the happiest has been Passion Pit, "Little Secrets" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RxL9Hod_qCY). Man, I love them fat analog synth noises.

I recently discovered the "classic alternative" station on XM (it comes with directv.) This is what I listed to, back on WLIR/WDRE, during high school, before it started to suck. Hey, they've even got a wikipedia entry! Cool.

Men Without Hats, Talking Heads, Depeche Mode, and a lot of songs I haven't heard in 20 years. Neat. I just Tivo'd several hours for listening enjoyment while I clean & cook.
