cases within cases

so, i've got an iphone. it normally lives in a case that provides some shock protection so i can drop it onto a floor and not suddenly be sad because i have a broken iphone.
but this means that pretty much all carrying cases for iphones are too small, because they're all designed to be snug around an otherwise-uncased iphone. but it would be nice to be able to have a case for the phone that i could have on my belt or the strap of my bag.
so i picked up a nylon case recently and did a bit of surgery on it --
i pulled the two side-seams out, and then resewed them so that they gave a bit more space inside. i also left one side only half-sewn so that i could have the headphones connected while it was in the case. the results seem to be about what i hoped.

... i took the pics with the iphone, so i can't show you a pic of the phone in the case at the moment.
