yo, local scul folks or other bike-interested locals -- anyone want an apparently functional bike?

Yes. Can you qualify that "apparently"? I'm looking for a good-enough bike to ride to the library, short errands, etc.

"apparently" means that i have seen it function in the past and it looks to have all its parts. at least one tire is flat. if you want to wander by some time and take a look, that would be cool. i'll be around all day tomorrow. or i could leave it under the carport if you want to come by some weekday.

Heya. Do you know what at least a small part of scul was doing in Waltham this afternoon? We passed Skunk (and cloudbuster) and a few other pilots outside a bike shop on Rt 20 around 3ish.

ah, ok. I yelled hi to Skunk out the window on the way past (he wasn't riding at the time). I wonder if he was surprised that some weird old lady driving a mini-van knew his name. :-)
