Screwfly Solution

The dramatic adaptation of Sheldon/Tiptree's "The Screwfly Solution" (done as part of the "Masters of Horror" tv series) is up on Netflix streaming.

It's a good adaptation, which is to say, depressing and dark. (with one bible-related joke in the scenery related to "John 3:16" -- for a different book, "3:16" that leads to a very circumstantially appropriate passage.)

So, yeah, rmd-bob says "check it out." If you like that sort of thing.

Gah. That was such a depressing (and well-written) story. I've never forgotten it, but I don't think I want to see a tv version. Good that it exists and is well done, though.
