i took today, tomorrow, and weds off as vacation.

i've gotten some stuff done, done a bunch of slothing, and need to finish a hat i've been making because instead of keeping it for myself i'm going to use it as my secret santa gift for someone on a web forum i'm on. (she likes handmade things and has a preference for blue. i'm partway through making a warm beanie hat out of alpaca/acrylic yarn. GIFT PROBLEM SOLVED!)

i really kinda want to take a few weeks off, though. various things in my head are finally starting to relax from being crisis-mode cramped up for, honestly, years. but for now, a few days will have to do.

Apropos of nothing at all, have you ever read Solitaire by Kelley Eskridge? It is disturbing in places, but I have a feeling you would love it.
