hm. cortisone doesn't seem to have helped much. maybe inflamation isn't the root of the problem? idunno.

have to make another appt some time soon.

If you've gotten some relief from the cortisone, that would indicate inflammation is at least part of the problem, no?

As for the root of the problem, inflammation is always caused by something, so the root of the problem is always something else...the question is what. If something is badly inflamed, you usually need to deal with that before you can deal with whatever caused the inflammation.

The one ailment I got cortisone from, I got good relief, but fairly short lived. Got a second shot and that was the end of the problem.

Have you tried ice massage? Not icing, ice massage.
