So, "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic" fanfic is something I never thought I would willingly read, but Friendship is Optimal is, uh, kind of amusing. It's no Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality, but it's good.

The computer *is* your friend, and will consensually satisfy your values through ponies and friendship.

i think it's charming. i don't much believe in the singularity, but that's what fiction is for, right?

i also spend a lot of my life promoting the value of friendship and ponies :)
