Someone on my friendslist is probably craving these titanium carabiner/tool things and doesn't know it yet.

"NOT LOAD RATED NOT FOR CLIMBING"

"feed through the 7/16 hex hole and one loop around the cleat and your tied"

Someone on your friendslist is probably craving it - but not this one.

What do you call a "carabiner" that's not load rated for climbing? Useless.

I think this line said all I needed to know:

"I bought my first carabiner in 1992 as a college student and specifically for securing my keys to my belt loop."

Oh, it's definitely not a carabiner. It is a somewhat tempting keychain wrench/tool, though.

Oh, that might be great for theatre use. And the -5 version has a 3/4" on it which we use for the bolts to hold the stage together all the time. Not to mention my need for holding on my keys. Hmm....

I keep looking at it and trying to decide if I want it.

I'm still using the same brass key ring that clips to my belt since I was in college, so I'm in no hurry to replace it.
