One of my favorites, though you don't find it too often up here. I used to love consulting in Atlanta for the breakfasts alone; sausage gravy, biscuits, grits! I'm really my father's child for some inexplicable reason. There's no other explanation for why I love southern cooking so much.
it's a trivially easy recipe, even. it was the recipe that came from freudian_slip's dad or grand-dad, iirc.
take a tube of jimmy dean pork sausage (the regular flavor, not weird maple), and crumble it up. add a finely diced onion and cook that in the sausage grease till the onions start to brown. add a quarter cup of flour and two cups of milk to everything, stir, and simmer till it thickens up.
for biscuits, i just made several small bisquick biscuits.
