Alas, my tenant, who is the World's Best Tenant, is moving out in a couple of months. So I guess I should start looking for a new tenant. If folks know anyone who is looking for a 1br in Somerville over near City Hall and Sarma (some day maybe near the Gilman Square green line stop) after (probably) April 1, let me know. It's the first floor of a regular 3 story Victorian style Somerville house. Nice porch, fairly quiet one-way street, close to several bus routes. Oil heat and hot water. In-unit washer/dryer included. Gas stove. Not accessible - there are stairs up to the front and back (well, side) porches. Well behaved pets are okay. No driveway usage (it's only one car wide and I don't want to deal with parking each other in), but parking is generally available on the block.

Date: 2016-01-06 04:57 pm (UTC)FWIW, you could probably easily get $1400-$1500 and it would still be under market but not a horrific price to most renters. According to Section 8, Fair Market is about $1300 this year, but literally one unit exists on Craigslist at that price.
