the oil company didn't fuck up. the float glass in my oil tank is busted. in a month or so, when i've used enough oil so that there's no chance of it spilling over when i open the tank, i'll disassemble the float glass and fix it.
yeah, it was after. but i didn't call them incompetent bastards or anything. and they did call me back saying "yeah, we put it in tank two. maybe your float gauge is busted?" so i'll call them back and say "yes, you're right. thank you so much for the heads' up on that!"
yeah, i figure a month should be enough so that i can take the glass off and poke at the float and see if it's caught on something without getting oil everywhere when i open it up.
