so, i bought a new palm-type computer (sony clie t615 -- 16M, color, aluminum case). then this morning i spent about 50 reboots getting my desktop machine up enough that it could run cd's and otherwise install the sync software (it still can't talk to the net, but that's a later battle).

then i installed the new palmos stuff and synced up the new toy and woohoo! i have all my data again.

i am so pleased.

Yea you! I'm so psyched for you! (and jealous).

You know, I understand the choices I make by pursuing an artistic life. I know that following the new technological advances and acquiring new electronics will not make me a more successful artist, a better lover, a better friend, nor an all-around cooler chick. And, finally, I know that a Clie won't solve any of my organizational problems that are brought on by my not actually looking at the appointments I book for myself in my equally capable Visor. ... BUT the Clie's are so-oo-o sexy, cool, swerval, hip, slick, handsome, etc. etc. ... and I want one, damn it!!! :-) :-)
