i watched election results with
claudia_ last nite. depressing indeed. expect bush and ashcroft to stack the federal courts with all the whackjobs they can, especially since openings have been backing up since the republicans started stonewalling clinton's apointees several years ago.
i was pleased to see major media refer to the MA governor's race as "a 5-way race". jamie o'keefe got 8% or so of the vote for treasurer -- impressive for a third party candidate.
still. ugh. mitt romney. he's just going to try and look good for long enough to get some national level post. and we'll still be stuck with finneran and all the conservative suckage that romney can weasel thru in the mean time.
i wasn't surprised that question 1 did better than it polled -- that's exactly the sort of thing that people will vote more conservatively than they admit to in polling.
my overall impression is just ... feh.
