i have a phone screen in just over an hour. i have this irrational fear that i will suddenly and completely forget 8 years of network engineering know-how and become remarkably stupid.

unlikely, but still, i'm surfing around on cisco's web site to sharpen my mind up a bit.

Good luck sweetie! you're about the smartest person I know, remember; so smart that you could explain 3-phase so that somebody with a EE degree could fully understand it for the first time ever -- WHILE you were recovering from the effects of general anaesthesia. I don't think it's possible for you to come off as dumb or unskilled. Even if you consciously tried to hide your smartness, it would leak through somehow.
