i thought i was going to the dentist for a cleaning appt. but then i got there and discovered that the cleaning appt is in april -- this was a drill and fill appt.

and now my upper left lip is numb. my upper right lip is numb. my lower right lip is numb. that's three of the four quandrants of lip that are numb.

my mouth feels like a manatee.

Apropos of nothing in particular....

I was driving by the Somerville Theatre last night, and what I thought I read on the marquee looked like:

CHEAPEST MANATEE IN TOWN

I don't know what your dental pain threshold is, but I could refer you to a dentist that can do about 90% of my drill-and-fill operations without a local. He's that good :) And I used to be one of the biggest dental-wimps in the world too...
