well, at least one stitch has dissolved and fallen off.

(cough cough - phlegm... cough cough - plegm... cough cough - what the hell? oh! a stitch!)

yeah. i think so. particularly the fact that there wasn't a lot of bleeding when the stitch went. (one of the risks around this time in the recovery is that the stitches will dissolve too soon and i'll tear something when it goes and end up bleeding a lot. needless to say, this is to be avoided.)

i bet it's like the story another friend told me, where she was drinking something and noticed a bit of blood in the backwash and then she realized she was bleeding pretty profusely from her throat...

and then it was just all fight club. "you can swallow a pint of your own blood before you get sick."

Yep, that's pretty much it exactly, with the blood and the sick and stuff. But as long as it seemed to last when it was going on it was actually pretty brief as far as bleeding is concerned.
