i've got some kind of post nasal drip action going on, which is making me cough and sneeze a lot so that my throat is more irritated than it otherwise would be. harrumf.
The one thing that I really found helped was gargling with a 1 tsp to 1 cup ratio of salt to warm water. I actually marked a glass with a 2 oz mark and add a 1/4 teaspoon of salt to it, stir with my toothbrush and I get three good gargle from it. The salt seems to help draw the irritation out and the water helps clear up all the mucus coating things.
