rmdwell, my flight out of town tonite was cancelled. we've rebooked for tomorrow morning, which will hopefully work out okay. (i'm hoping that it's an aircraft that's already on the ground here, so that we don't have to worry about other travel problems cascading to block us.)

soon will be the time of shovelling.
edited to include: NO SUCH FUCKING LUCK. sunday's flight is also cancelled. no vegas for me. there are social things i could do tonite, but i'm going to sit at home and sulk in between rounds of shovelling. because i can. the grumpiness is exacerbated because offhand.org's dns has been off the air for a few days due to power outages in the pacific northwest and dotster is being SLOWER THAN SNAILS ON DOWNERS in letting me add a new NS record after setting offhand itself up to act as ns1.offhand.org.
monday, the folks i was going to vegas with and i will go down to foxwoods and the mohegan sun, staying overnight at foxwoods. which will be a nice bit of hanging out and gambling, but i had been craving the whole vegas experience and i am left wanting. harrumf. maybe i'll go out there this spring some time.
