necessity is a mother.
Dec. 13th, 2003 02:46 pmnothing like a power outage to get me to unlame enough to put my computer and network gear on a small UPS.
also: peeve! a few months ago, i ordered a memory upgrade from dell for my desktop machine. and, since they know the service tag, they should've been able to determine correctly what type of memory i could take, RIGHT? wrong. they apparently sent me a totally wrong item. not like "gee, there's a timing mismatch" kind of wrong. we're talking DOESN'T EVEN FIT IN THE FUCKING SLOT type of wrong.
fuckers.
i'll see if it fits anything else i own before calling them up and bitching them out.
