spring of this year: MA does the "impossible" and starts legally marrying same sex couples.

fall of this year: the red sox do the "impossible" and win the world series.

coincidence? or causality? i think all the positive energy from happily married same sex couples balanced out the inherent "charlie brown playing football with lucy" energy of all the red sox fans who were certain, down in their souls, that the sox would end up choking in the 7th game...

(hey, if pat robertson can blame gay people for the weather, i can claim we're responsible for the red sox. after all, fenway park *is* in a noticably gay neighborhood.)

And of course, God is telling Florida not to screw up on Tuesday by whacking it with four hurricanes this summer.
