the particular poker peeve was QQ vs AK. QQ is a very slight favorite to win (it'll win roughly 55% of the time against AK), so it's practically a coin flip. unfortunately, to the detriment of my stack in an online tournament yesterday evening, i failed to maintain my slight advantage when the flop had an ace in it.
