having a morning GYN annual exam today resulted in RECTAL EXAM BEFORE BREAKFAST.

hopefully, the day is only uphill from there.

On men the exam is usually for prostate problems - on a woman, what's the purpose?

And I'm sure you've missed it terribly. They usually do it when there are ovarian cysts, a fibroid, or a history of cancer.
