kathrynt: I actually have a great, easy pattern for such a thing, and a much cleverer and harder pattern.
rmd: SO GAY.
rmd: ULTRAGAY.
kathrynt: The first involves cutting the fabric into 10" squares -- the dudes are about 12" tall, so chances are very strong that each square will feature bits of muscley bodies but not the entire figure.
kathrynt: Isolated body parts: gayer.

rmd: a quilt WITH CROTCH SHOTS.
kathrynt: The second, harder one involves cutting the fabric into its component repeats and stacking 8 of them together, carefully pinning so that you have 8 identical pieces of fabric. Then you cut the fabric into 45" wedges and sew them together into PINWHEELS OF GAY.
kathrynt: This method is called "stack and whack," for extra gay.

Ah, yes, I was waiting for "Cowboy Hunks" to show up. Eddie's Quilting Bee had that in their front window (in Mountain View CA, not exactly the gay epicenter of the South Bay) for ages. :-)
