instructables is running a 'cocktails vs mocktails' contest, with recipes for boozed and boozeless concoctions.

i submitted some recipe and preparation ideas for MOCKTAIL JELLO SHOTS, because 1. jello shots should be more interestingly flavored than plain old out-of-the-box flavored jello, and 2. given (1), the designated driver should have some opportunities for tasty jello goodness.

sometimes. but it can be TASTIER. we can improve it. we have the technology. including FLAVORED SYRUPS LIKE FOR COFFEE. (cherry jello is okay. cherry jello with vanilla flavor added on top of it is yummy.)

I love the basic idea of a cocktail vs. mocktail contest. I'm going to have to go read all their mocktail recipes. I'm trying to refine my skill as a bartender, but I don't always want to get tanked.
