IIRC, as long as you find it out after signing the insurance contract, you're covered.
Of course, one of the great benefits of this sort of test is figuring out whether you're in for an expensive chronic ailment and if so, buying more insurance.
I got a discount on my test kit last fall (black friday) but not that good
I'm glad I tried it... not knowing anything about my genetics. I learned I was of northern european heritage! Glad to know that. Also, no surprises affecting my health.
Thanks for the linkie -- I decided to sign up and give it a try, as being an orphan and knowing very little about my genetics other than generic Fennoscandian origin.

Well, not anymore. However it looks like they ended the sale so I will never know if I am 50% mermaid.
