This is quite a lovely little work of art; it covers all the bases and has a perfect, and literal, punch line.
For some reason the violence and hilarity remind me of my ongoing argument that somewhere about 2/3 of the way through "Return of the Jedi" George Lucas lost his nerve for what makes a heroic adventure heroic and has fucked up ever since. It is not, actually, a world of teddy bears and robots; you can't really address the emotions if you pretend pain and danger don't exist.
