I'm clearly getting into this whole "being on vacation" thing. I've started posting on mailing lists where I usually just lurk or mark-as-read. Yeah, I've got spare time on my hands. (and yet I haven't torn up much rug, yet. but engaging in online intellectual wankery is easier...)

otoh, it's over 60F out today, so I've the heat turned off and a bunch of windows opened to air the house out.

woo! sounds good, although my leisure is somewhat impaired by the fact that the next 48 hours (and hopefully no longer) will be occupied by tending to my stepmother, who's going in for (hopefully outpatient) surgery tomorrow.
